The IDEASTOX Team is a scrappy, resourceful crew with diverse backgrounds and eclectic tastes. We're based all over, Los Angeles, Tucson, Torrance, Austin, New York, Washington, Minneapolis, Virgina, Las Vegas, and more... but the one thing we all have in common: lots of ideas. Which is why, we think, so do you. If we're wrong, IDEASTOX won't work and we'll go back to our desks, scratching our head, trying to figure out what to do with our days. But if it does work, we'll be overjoyed at knowing you can now have a louder voice in determining which ideas happen and our idea helped to get you there.
Shampoo is basically soap, suspended in water to form a gel. This gel then needs to be packaged in a big, dumb, plastic bottle. We don't need that. All we need is the soap. Introducing the Shampoo Bar. A product which has yet to be successfully endorsed or brought to the market in a major way.
The first 'poo bar will be aimed at my fellow dudes. Dudes who don't need a fifteen-dollar bottle of goo. They just need a bar of shampoo they can grab, rub on their dome, and lather up. It works. It lasts forever. And it's great for your hair as well as the environment.
People, our streams and oceans are filled with bags and bottles. It's time to start voting with our wallets and making choices that reward responsible packaging. The Shampoo Bar is one of those ideas that's so obvious, we'll soon be wondering where the heck it's been all our lives. Thanks for your support.

I am a writer and illustrator, living and working in Los Angeles. My latest project, Things that Suck, is essentially a book-long list of, you guessed it, things that suck. It includes such items as: getting dumped, getting fired, getting your schlong caught in your zipper... What can I say? There are a lot of things that suck. And aside from complaining, I love the idea of websites like this that allow us to do something about it. Thanks IdeaStox!
